Where To Get a Gun in Survival?

I'm not particularly interested in playing the mafia story, so I've been doing my first run on survival. I've kept my eyes open for the opportunity to buy a gun but haven't come across any.

Unfortunately I just encountered my first wolf and turns out they are not susceptible to either knives or chainsaws, which is a shame, especially the chainsaw bit. I can see how if there was a whole pack of wolves a chainsaw might be rendered useless, but against one wolf I kind of like my odds on at least fending it off.

Nonetheless, I'm prepared to play within the bounds of the game but I don't know how to get my hands on a gun. Any tips? I haven't been stopping at any stores that aren't at stations where I need to drop/pick-up wagons, so perhaps that's my mistake? Cheers for any help.

You should have at least run through the demo or tutorial. There was a rifle and pistol in the starting station. There is a scoped rifle in the game but it's not available in survival.

So now if you want to keep the same play just head to the next mafia station. They typically sell 1 type of weapon and some ammo.

There is a first AK 47 at the Mafia Shop on the Starting Station. In the other Shop's you get the Tokarew a Pistol. The AK 47 with Sniperclases you can get in the Deermision. The Problem, you had at Start to low money. You must change Weapons, Meals and spare Parts for your Train. The most part where you must Repair is the Speedcontroler and the Breaking Switch. I did do the tutorial -- twice. But I did the tutorial for survival mode, not for story/mafia mode, and in survival mode there is no mention during the tutorial of guns. I've also been all over the first station, including the mafia store, and while I've found tons of food on the ground and in bins, I haven't found a single gun. I've also tried speaking to everyone (well, not everyone as there are an awful lot of drunks wandering around, but I've spoken to nearly everyone), particularly those who seem like they might be interactive, but so far no one has spoken back to me in survival mode.

I'd really rather not have to play mafia mode, but the game is unplayable without a gun, from what I can see. I tried to wait the wolf out but that didn't work, and as I said I tried a knife and a chainsaw and neither of those worked, so it would seem guns are the only option.

Edit: Ok, new game, went back into the mafia basement and this time noticed the gun for sale on top of the barrels -- I missed that previously. So I'm all set. Thanks for the responses.
