I thought it was standard feature on the storepage after the redesign, but guess it's only used for some titles.
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ approach, especially when you consider how Steam dislikes refunds, even if they are clearly warranted (and supposedly within the legal rights of customers, but when you have near monopoly, who cares about those).
Anyway, GFWL is a "system requirement" and should, at least, be listed there.
Its on the Store page, just click the 'Read More' on the game description, but your right it should be in the Game Specs
Really, how hard would it be to take it out of games, a simple patch and watch the sales come in. Should be very cost effective, I would think.
In the meanwhile, the discussions always snitch GFWL out, and I for one will not buy a title that uses it. If enough people vote with their wallet, they will see the light.
"HHHMMMM, no sales on any games that require GFWL, wonder if a quick patch would fix that?"
"Let's find out..."
I'm going to look into enhanced steam, thanx.
If you go in to a browser and change the settings so that the Two Step Verification is turned off, then the game will work as normal.
If you are worried about security you can install the Windows Live Verification App to your phone and use that to keep an extra layer of protection on your account.
