Failed to initialize Physx Hardware Acceleration

I cant launch the game and just get this error. I have the latest GFWL and nvidia drivers and my card does support physx... whats going on? How can I start the game?

try downloading the physx legacy driver set. Its been a while since i dealt with the same error but i belive thats what fixed it. If not that may have to edit the ini. file in cooked pc folder in steam to set physx=false

Thanks I got it working - I uninstalled physx from my control panel, then installed the physx version in the redist folder the game had. Then went back and installed the newest version of physx again. I guess the older versions install physx to a different folder than the new one does
