is it possible to use someone else's save files?

but it didnt work for me. anyone has tried it? please lemme know

From what I understand, the save is linked to the persons profile so you'll have to do it all under your own power.

Under the original Bulletstorm there was a way to do it, but only on the non-GFWL version as the the cloud was the default save but had an offline mode save area when GFWL was ever offline. This process has been removed since GFWL is not present on this version of the game.

Oops thought this was Full Clip, barely get people posting in here so didn't realise this was for the Original, whoops!

You'll need to find someone that has the save for the GFWL workaround and then place it here:
'your user profile' \Documents\My Games\BulletStorm\StormGame\SaveData\

That was in the original post, in theory it should work since the GFWL workaround does not tie the game save to a profile, if it is simply a GFWL offline save it won't work as the save is tied to the profile. Also you need to use the GFWL workaround yourself so that the GFWL profile does not reject the non-GFWL save.

This is the workaround, not the save files. You'll need to find someone that has those for this to work, any other save file will not work as it is linked to the GFWL profile. I think by this stage you could of got to where you wanted by playing the game....

You can't, those files are tied to the profile so they cannot be shared. The Lite edition might work differently since it uses Origin but not entirely sure as never used that file structure.

What is there to hate? Play the game, if you want to cheat I'm sure there is something out there in cracked versions.

That is on you, I've played it previously and changed computers without backing up the save, had to it it again. It takes a little time but thats it. Story is pretty good. If you didn't like it why bother buying the new edition?
