1. Create a plant a with the basic leaf, and one ovule (for fruit).
2. Put it in the world, wait until it gets at least 1 child, open the 'add plant' button and click mutate.
3. In the plant editor, you get a notification of newly unlocked body parts. Replace the basic leaf with the leaf with little branches on the side.
4. Put it in the world, wait until it gets at least 1 child, and mutate it again (like in step 2). IMPORTANT: make sure you mutate the second species, not the first.
5. The plant editor should now notify you that you have access to the needles (among other new body parts). Replace the leaf with little branches on the side with the needles. Also, on the highest peak there is only deep ground water, so you need deep roots as well. To increase the amount of offspring and thus chances of survival, it might also be good to add another ovule (fruit).
6. Put it on the highest peak, fastforward the time to 100 years.
I'd suggest putting in a hint to make that a bit more obvious for us slow learners ;-)
Well done btw, only up to the third level so far, but I'm really looking forward to the more advanced scenarios!
Also, I would definitely not consider you a slow learner :) .The game should be clear and intuitive to everyone, and if some people get stuck somewhere that is something I should (and will) improve.
