Graphical bug. Horrible pixelated special effects.
I am experiencing a horrible graphical bug where things like flamethrowers, certain explosions and other effects are appearing as huge squarish glowing pixels. It looks terrible.

I am running on a 14900k and 4080 Super. I have tried with all settings turned down to low, all up at max and everything in between. I have tried every piece of anecdotal advice found so far online but with no success.

I seen one solution in regards to rolling drivers back to and older version but the version it said to use (546.33) says it isn't compatible and wont install. Does anyone know of another method to fix this or another driver version that doesn't have this issue that will be compatible with my card (4080 Super).

Hi KDM,

the rollback might not work with GPUs released in 2024 (it works on my 4070ti from 2023). Before that, I fiddled around with a Vulkan DX12 wrapper, but I couldn't get the game to launch. I would advise to report the issue to the Nvidia support - I already did. if enough people bring this issue on the table they might fix it in an upcoming driver.

Yeah I find it to be so annoying that the older drivers are compatible with all the RTX 40-Series cards apart from the 4080 Super and 4090Ti.

Could you give me a link to the correct Nvidia support so I can pass this along to them as well? They seem to have a few different supports and I want to ensure I contact the correct department.
Hey KDM,
I guess you could either do what I did and send your feedback via GeForce Experience (in the bottom right corner) or post in the forum:
https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/
But you're right, the support departments are pretty confusing...
In the end I do not know if there is "one" right way to report an issue.
