High temp / speed fan GPU
Hi, when I play this game, my GPU is heating to 85°C and so the fan speed goes to 2500+ rpm, which is super loud in my room. I tried to down the settings in the game and put 60 FPS limit max in the Nvidia Panel + in the game, but the temperature is still high.

I have absolutely no problem of this kind with other games in full ultra, like Assassin's Creed, Witcher 3, Jedi Fallen Order, etc...

My computer is quite new, with those specs :
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- ASUS TUF GAMING B550M-PLUS
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
- 16 Gb of memory
- Windows 10

MA pushs gpu way more than the games you mentioned. How good is your air flow in your pc?

I've got one fan in the front (120 mm) + one fan in the back (120 mm) that were both supplied with my case + a ventirad Noctua NH-U12S chromax black. The top is open with a dust filter.

Thats not to many fans but 85 is way to high. Sry for asking rhe fans are installed in correct direction?

Maybe I should see for more and better fans. I don't know if mines are bad or ok.

Yes, they are well installed. I've checked this once again.

Do you think it's a fan problem ? or the game is just too demanding even with high specs ?

wait what the 30 series cards do run hotter and 85 is not way too high but its kinda borderline better fans are def a thing you could look at also fans on gpu might not be the loud ones and fans on mobo may be related to cpu temps, what you need is liquid cool on cpu and a case big enough to cool off faster than the heat buildup or even open the panel

85 is 10 degrees to high for my personal taste. So yes way to high even i know gpus can handle temps like that. I have cpu AIO and also 4 case fans

your taste is not so relevant here its more about how the new cards are made with all the extra cores and power, but maybe it is too high for a 70 but its got higher power than a 2080ti no? the question is this, is it consistently 85 or is that just before the fans speed up and lower it which is a short spike?

My taste should give a direction that help and what i can offer in a forum like this. As you mentioned 85 might be too high for a 3070 looks like you go in the same direction. 80 degrees is for bad air flow cases ok but 75 should be the aim. For example my gpu never crosses 70 but i dont tell people to have the same temp target.
