lost cloud save or wont load save

been playing since launch and about 200 hours of game play. not sure if my cloud data was lost or if it wont load in. All my leveled characters are now level 1 and i lost all progress in workshop. everything is gone like i made a new account. worked fine last login 24 hours ago. Please Help Me :(

Wow, that is not cool! I would be so sad losing that much time and effort in an instant....

Your save got corrupted, it can happen in this game for various reasons, usually a crash causes it.

Autosave makes new backup saves every hour, I hope you have not played for 3 hours since you lost your save. If you have, the new save state has overwritten the backups and you have lost your progress forever.

If you were using Steam Cloud though, you might be able to find an earlier save from there. Google "how to download Steam Cloud saves" to find guides for this.

i loaded in the game 2x but did nothing but look to see if my account was fixed.
I figured it might save over my last data and i didnt want that.

Got it fixed, Found some windows backups where i had most recent game files saved. switched a few names around and about the 5th try i got it back up and running.. so far :)
