How long to max level a hero?

I understand some of the daily caps and other time gating were removed. How long does it take to max level a hero now?

once you get to 140 gear level you can only get higher gear through events or multiplayer basically. there are event objectives that can give you superior gear, OLT + raid I think always gives you superior rewards now, and vibranium event war zones can give you artifacts up to 175. So to answer your question more directly uhh idk it still takes a while. It's pretty smooth sailing up to 140 though, you just do whatever cuz better gear always drops.

Its a boring grind but one of the villain sections you have access to in the first area of the game has a bit where you can spam kill the high value target. Each kill gives like 1800-2400xp and takes about a min or two. You just need to choose the restart checkpoint option after getting XP but before the next objective is given.
