Who are the best AI companions?

I am usually rolling with a variation of Thor, Hulk, Cap and Kamala as AI but would like to know yours as well. I prefer them to keep the aggro off from me and hold their own in a brawl.

I turned Thor into a huge glass cannon with over 10k Valor, so that he clears rooms with the heroic powers. Makes him pretty useless as an AI companion though, so he is still shelved while I get him a set of more tanky gear.

I usually take Kamala, Hulk and then either Cap, IM or a Hawkeye depending on what I'm playing as. For this current event BW has been in the group of course.

This has just been my pattern for solo leveling and mostly for pwr levels 100-130. Whoever has the lowest power is my lead and then backed up w Thor, IM, Hulk or Cap. I know that seems cliche but in my experience if I want to be sure to survive a boss fight I’ve had most success with these 4. Which is sad bc I really really enjoy Nat, Kate and Hawk. Since I enjoyed them so much they were my first to 130. Now I just play the rest in rotation to grind them up.

the most useful in my opinion and why. Widow for invis which also regenerates health and boosts the whole teams damage. Marvel for healing spirit and Thor for his ult which covers the whole area in an AOE.

If not for heroic skills all the characters play the same when they are AI, they stand around doing nothing or get stuck in the terrain. Only real utility they have is to take some aggro away from you, pick you up when you go down, open doors that you can't and occasionally throw out an heroic (more than often when everyone is already dead...)

Hulk is almost always in my party, followed by Kamala. I never use Kate Bishop or Black Widow as companions unless "forced" in some way.

Kamala, Hulk and Cap for solo. Sometimes I run an all girl gang or all guy to switch it up, it's all fun!
