50 gb update....
How you gonna double the size of the game with one update, and doubt it makes the game any better

I know your pain. I'm in Australia so going to bed now and will check it out tomorrow. Our download speeds over here are horrendous. I have 80% of my Steam library installed which takes up almost 20 terabytes on all my SSDs combined,

I know it's crazy but I just hate re-downloading games and waiting forever, Much easier to have everything ready to go until we get better speeds here. The ability to preload some games is a God send for people like me.

wakanda is supposed to be comperable in length to the first story mission. plus they are completely revamping the character screens. so instead of having to tab through things everything will now be on one screen

it's a better game because now because you have a new hero, new habilities, new scenaries, new campaing...

Yeah true, this is the biggest update yet and is really the first fully fledged expansion to the game. Looks like they totally revamped everything. Really been looking forward to this one. It's going to be worth the wait of a few hours of downloading for sure

It's the biggest update by far that they have ever had and it's also free so you really can't complain with that. Two new heroes, two new villains and an entire new area to explore. There's a lot more content in it especially compared to the Hawkeye DLC.

I was actually not complaining. I was trying to set expectations back down to reality for some people so they don't disappoint themselves. I personally am looking forward to play Wakanda.

Then maybe don't use high res texture pack? Or is that update still that big without the high rest texture pack dlc?
For me it's 49.2 GB, the update.
Marvel's Avengers without this update is 111GB, with high res texture pack dlc.

If you're talking about the download size, then complain about it to valve. But whatever.

It doesn't double the size of the game, updates usually just replace old files which then get removed.

In this case though the size is going to increase a fair bit, since the expansion has so many new assets that need to be added into the game files. I expect this expansion to add about 20-25GB more to the size, but it shouldn't grow by 50GB.
