How Can I Get Better Gear and Level Up The Other Avengers Faster?
Hello, everyone.

Ever since Marvel's Avengers came out, I played the game a lot and finished the whole main story campaign and Iron Man was my main. But after completing the main story, I suddenly stopped playing the game for quite a while now since there were other games that I was playing back then. But now, here I am getting back into the game months later after the War for Wakanda expansion released and I plan on leveling up my Avengers to higher Power Level.

During these past days, I've been spending time leveling up Iron Man and I've managed to increase his Power Level by 140. Now, I plan on increasing the Power Level of Captain America and the other Avengers but I just don't know where or which missions to get better gear to level them up because I've literally completed almost the entire Reassemble Operation in ever region. But, I haven't started the other Operations yet like Taking AIM, Future Imperfect, & War for Wakanda yet because I had a feeling those would just level up Hawkeye, Kate Bishop, and Black Panther.

So what do you guys recommend I should do to get better gear and level up the Power Level for each and every one of them?

It's much faster to level up in PL if you always equip the highest PL gear available before opening a chest. Don't bother boosting up the gear beyond maybe unlocking the perks until you get PL 130 gear drops. Boosting up the gear also doesn't affect the PL of the drops, that is always calculated by your base PL.

Between missions, make sure to visit every faction vendor too. When buying gear from them, buy only one item at a time, equip it, then check whether the other available items have gone up in PL.

Often what lags behind in PL the most are the minor artifacts and the most convenient source of these are the faction vendors. Keep an eye on the faction vendor daily resets as well.

The story missions aren't the main source of gear. All missions on The Initiative Wartable, that are suitable for your power level, can serve the purpose of gearing your character since it provides instant access to all gear vendors and contains the most missions. As you gain power level, you will gain access to more missions.

Missions are the most efficient means for gear and upgrade materials since it costs nothing to acquire. Dismantling useless gear and collecting the items from breakable boxes during missions are also sources for upgrade materials. Gear vendors require Fragments to buy gear and upgrade materials.

Visit the 5 shops located at the 3 Outposts between missions to see if any provide better gear. The Chimera only has one gear vendor while the other 2 Outposts each have 2 gear vendors.

If you're not interested in co-op, then disable multiplayer while in the lobby or just start the mission.

There's a gear vendor in Wakanda too, but just one. I was hoping for a new faction vendor there, but they might be saving new factions for something even bigger than WfW.

You're assuming there will be something bigger than WfW seeing as how short staffed they are for this game that they needed to resort to rehashing content for the roadmap you might be wise to lower your expectations for the future.

Yeah, I agree. That's what I've been doing when I leveled up Iron Man. Just equipped the highest possible gear I get despite whether it's blue, purple, or yellow. Plus, it would save me a lot of resources till I get the best gear for my Avengers to boost up.

And yes, I will be keeping an eye out on every faction vendor in the game. Plus, I have been doing the S.H.I.E.L.D. faction missions and I've managed to get the faction level up. I'll try to do more of the faction missions as well.

Thanks for your help!

Ah ok. Tbh, I was considering of doing The Avengers Initiative but I didn't because I thought the Power Level of my Avengers was too low for me to play. 😅 But alright, I'll start spending time doing The Initiative Wartable.

And yes, missions really do offer a lot of gear and upgrade materials to acquire. That's why I asked about this because I wanted to know if there are still more missions for me to upgrade each Avenger's Power Level. Glad to know that the Initiative Wartable will offer me more missions to acquire more better gear. And don't worry, I always keep an eye out on the fragments on every missions and I have a lot of them Lol

And yes, I'll be keeping an eye out on all the shops of each Outpost every time.

Thanks a lot for helping me out!

Vault missions over 130.
Keep an eye on your upgrade modules bc you can burn through them fast playing all 9 characters.
No sense using them on anything under five ⭐️ imo.
Andrew has a great post on vault runs. I’ll see if I can find it later tonight.

Oh yeah, I've been doing the Vault missions these past days as I was leveling up Iron Man's Power Level and that's how I managed to increse his Power Level by 140.

And yes, that's true. Upgrade Modules can run out so quickly and be a waste when using them to boost gear below five stars. That's why I always buy them from the vendors and I also managed to get more from dismantling low-level gear.

I would love to see his Vault runs. Hope I get to see them soon. Thanks for the advice!

Not sure what your PL is now but if you are just looking for gear and want something to do while you watch TV you can youtube how to do a snowy tundra chest run on marvels avengers. You can do that to fill up your vault with loot and then pick through it later.

Oh really? That's interesting. Yeah I'll look into that on YouTube and try to do that. Thanks!

Stark Realities:
Upon Dropping into this mission, head the left and follow the mountain wall.
You will come to a ravine, drop into it and follow it to the end. You will pick up a Shield signal. Follow it to the bunker. Enter it and find the Platinum Shield Chest (always in the same spot). It has a high probability of giving you a Vault Mission.

You can hop back to jet and enter the mission over and over to get vault missions. There are 6 total. I have never been able to receive more than 5 at one time.

Desert, Forest, and Snowy Vaults and Elite versions of the prior 3.

I set the vaults to Challenge IV then head in to grab DNA chests, I always run it to the end for maximum reward since getting a vault mission is effortless. This is also the best way to boost the power rating of any hero since you also gain ISO-8 in the mission (just refrain from opening DNA chest on low powered heroes since they have ZERO chance at exotics).

Maybe you know this by now. Anyway, hope it helps!

Alright. I'll keep that in mind and try that out next time I play.

Thanks for letting me know!

Do corrupted vibranium event, each mound give you 2 gear which resulted to 6-8 gear on single event (usually each vibranium mission has up to 2 mound event)

Actually, I did see a video of that on that about corrupted vibranium and I can't believe you get better gear that quick Lol But yeah, I will be doing that soon.

Thanks for the help! :)
