No point of buying a dead game that will stop development. Unless you have large quantities of disposable income that you don't know what to do with.

Research games and invest into ones that have continued life, something like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or Insurgency: Sandstorm - it has both servers, dedicated servers and bots with offline mode, so if official servers shut down, by some magic all dedicated servers shut down, at least you're left with the bots in offline mode.

Buying live service games or games-as-a-service is stupid and it promotes the industry to create even more of this crap so in 5-10 years having a game with bots, offline mode and dedicated servers will only be a myth or a tall tale that old timers talk around the campfire.

If you're expecting a quality MP experience - absolutely not. If you like Marvel stuff and just want to blow crap up, sure. Iron Man and Thor are fun, combat with Cap and Widow is rewarding considering how they play but the game's suited to casual play until it stops being fun. Then occasionally coming back later when you get the itch to blow crap up or Hulk smash (Hulk's fun too). I'm a tad surprised they didn't remove MP requirement for raids considering how few people play MP anymore, but oh well.

If i could have gotten it for $8 i'd be happy with my purchase. Unfortunately i got it at launch...so i didn't get it for $8 lol. Over the years got my moneys worth it...but i learned to accept it for what it is. Fun albeit very limited Marvel substitute for a game i can't play anymore - MH:O.

If you never played before this is probably the best time to go through the story at least. There is some fun to be had with the game but it for sure was not set up right to go long term with the repetitive enemies and lack of bosses.

Yeah. Back when news broke that support was gonna end in March and everything was gonna be unlocked free, I found the game on sale for $6 something at Green Man. Played maybe a couple hours and then put it to the side waiting for this day to come.

Now I'm gonna play it.

I hope you were able to snag a copy. This game is definitely worth it for that price, especially with all the skins and other stuff unlocked for free.

Well worth it on Sale. My guess is they will put it on Sale again for the Summer Sale if you cant find it before then.

Worth it for PVE and beat them up, especially with all the paid skins and finishing moves unlocked for free, those of which would have cost you a at least gaming PC for buying all the skins locked behind paywalls. Treat this as a single-player game with lots of MCU outfits to choose from, and don't expect too much from multiplayer because you may not be able to find too many matches on the PC platform.
