[Distant Future Request] increase Party size?

I know its way too early to ask and perhaps its too hardware burdening, but will Marvel Avenger’s ever see more than 4 players. If no, is modding allowed to write our own pluggin to make PC version allow more than 4 players?

i got a friend for every current Marvel Character, and it would be amazing to see the entire Avenger roster on the field.

With current pace it'll take years for the team to make bigger multiplayer modes. First let's see if the development will continue past the spring / Spiderman.

when the game first launched, we would accidentally get more than 4 characters in a mission. I think it is supported but maybe they are saving it for raids.

I seen this as well. My buddy got it on recording as well.

If they designed the game well enough, allowing more players in a lobby and match is not a hard task.

However, having witnessed kates’s appearance as game breaking, they coded every avenger’s dialogue as a dependency, meaning they expect a certain character to respond back to kate. If that character is missing, code remains in a loop. I hope the devs learned their lesson and made flags to leave loops when unimportant checks are unavailable.

By the time Kate was new released, I believe we were suppose to get Raids. Everything got pushed back 3 months it appears.

Did you receive the product for free?

Left4dead and L4D2 party size increase never happened, yet the community modded it to hold 32 coop campaign.

Classic Rune is a single player game, multiplayer never happened yet a community of modders transformed it to 6 player coop campaign.

Skyrim is a single player game and multiplayer never happened, yet a community of modders made it 4 player coop.

Alien Swarm was a 4 player coop modded to 16 players.

DOOM 3 is single player game modded to 8 player coop.

FEAR is a single player game modded to 32 coop campaign.

Guildwars 1 started as 6 man team, updated to 8, DLCed to 16 party size.

Nation red started as single player, updated to 4 players for free.

Batman Arkham Origins is a single player game with a multiplayer side content, its coop campaign mod got shutdown by WB.

The list goes on. Its not foreign for PC games to jailbreak.

You want them to increase the party size when we can't even get 1 other person in the group lol and if you do the enemies don't spawn on the map. Even the Devs couldn't get into a match and get enemies to spawn.. it's on their stream lol.

GaaS games are usually not mod friendly, so I wouldn't count on mods to add that.

Thats good they got it on stream. You don't need matchmaking to get 4 players together, just friends or the ability to make new ones. :P

The possibility to have more than 4 players is there. Back in early launch days, there use to be a bug where the game would spawn more hero AI than it should. I had all 6 heroes in a game before and it didn't seem to affect the difficulty at all. One instance I had a full team of 4 players and 1 other AI hero for a team of 5. Each hero in the team also had name tags on the upper right hand corner. The game already supports it - only by choice that is preventing it.

If you can read, the title says Distant future. You might need to go back to kindergarten and learn what yesterday, today, tomorrow, and future are.

Marvel Avenger’s is no different from a single player game that is offline. Modding will be 500x easier than a game requiring authentication. Marvel avengers has 0 authentication, lol

Why want to increase party size . I never get someone to play with me in multiplayer at all. For me this game solo play and last time found someone online to play with was at launched!
