To those who have lost Units
Looks like it's a bug and not CD taking them away. Apparently you can't have over 32k units or they will disappear.

Weird how the game waited all the way till 45k to decide I had too much. I'm not 100% buying this explanation unless it happened along with the other server side changes they made. And if it did, how embarrassing is it to ♥♥♥♥ that up post launch?

This is incredibly embarrassing. Though I agree with OP that SOME variable could be overflowing, just not the one that keeps track of how many units you have. There may be some function elsewhere that checks your variables which is only called when looking at something specific, you get an overflow, something dumb happens and poof, units gone. Given how cosmetics got locked from previewing other cosmetics, it sounds to me like responsibility hasn't been split up properly in the classes used, causing side effects.

FYI... this happens with fragments too. I just lost 30+K in fragments. Clearly this game has trouble tracking above that number. I now only have around 500.

I agree. I lost 32K gear fragments as well. Down to a few hundreds.
