im confused - how do i play the story from the beginning?

I started playing and i got a massive cut scene showing loads of confusing stuff that had already happened...
Feels like i've started playing a DLC or something with Iron Man... how do i start playing the story from the beginning?

Sounds like you may have selected Initiative, which is the multiplayer end game stuff. There should be Campaign...that is the single player story content.

Operations button has the campaigns behind them, Play Now skips the campaigns and puts you into the endgame mode.

Play Now used to be The Initiative until they changed it into Play Now. It's been fooling new players ever since then.

Campaign was renamed into Operations.

OK ive tried this. Operations just puts me on the helicarrier... but the game doesn't tell me how to play the previous campaigns.... i can select one... in the select menu... but how do i start it?

You can also just delete your save file and start from the beginning, might be easier for you.

If your still confused, you have to go where they tell you on the Helicarrier, its basically a Combat Tutorial they send you to. After that you will be able to Select the Holo Table thing and can Select Missions and from there you can start the Campaign. Its a bit of a mess when you are starting out, it had me running around too.

wow this actually really helps me since i just got the game form CDkeys and didnt know that operations is campaign which doesnt make any sense but whatever
