Is Spider man in the pc version of the game?

I seen on YouTube that people were playing as spider man on avengers but I cant figure out how to get him.

came here to ask the same question, was he ever added to the PC version?

Would be ironic if he wasn't but the actual Spider-man games are on Steam by now.

No. He was supposed to come to PC after the Sony contract but since support of the game dropped before then he won't make it, sadly. So no Spider-Man. PlayStation exclusive.

I actually totally forgot about Spider-Man being in the game. It is sad that he's not in all versions cuz of the stupid Sony ownership nonsense.

sony doesnt own spiderman. spiderman is in marvel's ultimate alliance 3 on switch. crystal just struck a deal to have spiderman on ps4/5 and it worked out for sony.

No. All versions of the game (PC/Steam, PC/M$Store, Xbox One/Series, PlayStation 4/5, Stadia) were removed from all the stores by the end of September 30th, 2023. You can no longer purchase it.

Physical copies are still sold by some retailers though, and then there's the grey market as well.

^ yeah that's what i thought, they just own the movie rights, hence why they do the spider-man movies and venom movies.

and marvel does everything else.

the only reason spider-man was made an exclusive on ps4/ps5 is because the games are seperate from the movies and sony are greedy and just want to maximise profits on ps, it's also why spider-man ports take so long to reach pc and are not on xbox because that is their main competition.

they don't really consider pc competition, more like the sad kid in the room. oh you want spider-man? here, have this dead spider....man. kid screams and runs away.

the only reason exclusives exist on consoles is to sell consoles & it's games with said exclusive stuff.

take away the exclusives and there is not much else that will bring in tons of $$$$$$$$$

well except expensive sony controllers and laughable licensed "pro" controllers. you pay for the fancy designs and get the stick drift FOR FREE as a bonus. but wait there's more.

As someone who has both versions, Peter has little to no story whatsoever, he's just thrown into it and his gameplay mechanics are pretty miserable compared to his Insomniac counterpart at the time. You really were not missing out on much and IMO he underperforms as an addition to the team if you're with three other people compared to some of the better characters. I get it that people do/did want to play as him but his ability to move quickly in the environment wasn't on par with people who could fly but still slightly better than Hulk's obviously.
