Will online still work once it's delisted?

The FAQ page says it will work past the delisting date but I would guess this won't be forever. A year or two, then either it will be single player only. Or a fan made work around mod like other discontinued games needed.

Historically speaking, games will still work once you own them, even past store-removal. You just won't be able to easily get the keys anymore.

Forums and guides section still work even if you can't search through steam store directly.

that only applies for game thats offline singleplayer or game with p2p coops.

its an online only game and non p2p, thats why im worried if they will ever do a patch to allow offline/peer 2 peer coop.

In current state as its done, you can play it "forever" since there is no server side...only server side things were market(removed) and "username checkout"(guess/hope this got removed too). Multiplayer games are player side. So things to worry about are: 1. game breaking bug appears or game files become irrepairable corrupted(game over, since no support) 2. hidden date switch off(after given date, lets say something like "play" button becomes hidden and unclickable, game unplayable) 3. Noone plays game anymore(Only SP/Solo MP). 4. Unforseen changes before delisting
