THE GAME IS DEAD BUT WILL WE STILL BE ABLE TO PLAY IT AFTER?
With the announcement that the game is dead I was wondering: after September 30th, who already has the game will still be able to play normally the main campaign and DLCs or will the game be deleted from our library?

Will single- and multi-player play be available forever?

The changes we are making to how the game functions will ensure as long a life as possible. However, after September 30, 2023 we can’t guarantee that we will be able to address issues that occur due to unforeseen circumstances.

So, if the servers do shutdown at some point, will the sp content still be available? Will I still be able to access skins? Any chance opening up OLT and Wakanda raid and making them sp?

Thank god, give the license to someone who can ACTUALLY make a good game. I wasnt mad about the live service bit, im pissed about how they didnt go anywhere with any of the story stuff, i even like the main story but it goes NO WHERE and i cant believe they did this to some of my favorite characters in comics.

Game was hamstrung from the beginning, I knew SE wouldn't give the money or time they needed, and I imagine a lot of issues with characters/story were due to Disney mandates. I'd put the onus more on the publisher and license holder than the developers. It's clear this was meant to be used as a way to prop up Disney's version of Marvel. That being said, I am enjoying what I got for $8 lmao, but if I had paid full price, yea I'd be pretty miffed. IDK what the ♥♥♥♥ is wrong with SE, but they aren't the company they used to be. I feel like, at least as far as the PC platform is concerned, SE is worse than EA.

I mean I paid full price for me and my friend when it launched and I mean collectively we probably have 400 hours but thats cause we've played on and off since launch. I havent played in a long time and i certainly havent purchased anything in the store for a long time so i got my moneys worth a long time ago imo but it's scummy how they ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ put up a $75 MCU skin pack for people like a week ago and then did this.

Oh no, I agree, it's scummy all around, but I wouldn't put it on the dev, I haven't paid that much attention to the endgame shop, jeez, $75? LMAO

Regardless whether an online service game shuts down or becomes no longer sold on Steam at some future date, it will always remain in your Steam Library.

This applies to any game. I own many games which are no longer available on Steam and also many games which have had their services shut down. They're all still in my Library.

That may apply to some other games but in this situation it doesn't apply to this one.

The game is going from dedicated servers to Peer-to-peer. That's what they mean by "changes to how our game works". This means that the servers will never "shut down", because there will be no servers. As long as one person is playing the game, theoretically the multiplayer will be playable forever.

Multiplayer will still function as well as single player. You own the game, you don't lose your ability to play it just because it gets delisted from Steam.

I own hundreds of delisted games.

Is this official? Also, isnt matchmaking usally on servers side even when session itself peer to peer?
