exotic gear repeats

I keep getting the same exotic and legendary gear over and over and over, does it change weekly monthly or is just random? My Thor has gotten a hivemind hammer 5 times in a row I was hoping for a vest or anything but that hammer. And after the first hammer all other hammers have a lesser power rating for things like might and valor. Anyone else have the same experience or am I just unlucky?

I got two times the ame exotic once (in fact, witch Thor) , but It hasn't happened again to me, and I have about 10 exotics per heroe, aprox.

It could be bad luck, just that. By the way, the could fix that. I know it's random loot, but even that they could prevent exotics from be the same several times

I got a ranged and heroic gear for Kate then 2 melee gear for Ms Marvel. Coincidence that my ranged hero gets ranged gear and my melee hero gets melee gear? Maybe.

What is your highest stat on Thor, OP? I think if you try increasing a specific stat so it's one of your top two highest stats. I think the game recognizes this and gives you exotics that relate to your highest stats.

At least, that's what my last 4 exotics seem to suggest.

I disagree. I think you just got lucky. I have a lot of exotics and all of them aren't related with the highest stat of the heroe.

I have 5 heroes maxed at 150, and they have exotics to maximize different stats

When did you get your exotics? They could have recently changed the algorithms and methods of the exotic drops server side. I'm interested to see what my next Exotics are when the Priority mission resets. I got 4 useful exotics within the last 2 days. I remember the Exotics I got several months ago were all basically useless for my character.

I got them in Tachions Event, I will take a look on my next exotics to see what you've said.

It would be easier to maximize your heroes that way

I just ran the priority mission with Kate and I got 2 chest pieces and both were for melee builds.

I'd Love to see a sort of "take apart to learn" and "Craft with your faves" kind of option implemented.
Where you can learn styles/stats/... for each piece, pick one of the perks it has to learn it when taking apart. To then be able to craft pieces with the perks you learned, in the combo that works best for you. And the higher the tier gear is , the more and more rare items you need to craft it.
And maybe upgradable minor artifacts? And why is the Tactigon the only one with stats ?

This way you can make your preferred build, and the grind will actually lead up to something. For myself, i know this would make the game more interesting again. Cause now i'm mostly looking forward to new content, besides that it feels like a lot of repeat without an actual goal

Sort of, i guess, though i would make the main way of learning new styles/traits/stats deconstruction. Though blueprints could be a rare drop. Or looking at it from a companies point of view: purchasable for the super rare styles.
