Not if you are collecting Wakandan gear. Their vendor sells entirely new stuff with unique perks and status effects based on Sonic and Vibranium.
The new players who started when War for Wakanda came out, still have a lot of resource collecting to do. I'm already at max caps for most of the stuff and have been stockpiling my loot drops into the vault in preparation for the gear level cap increase, going to have to scrap a lot of stuff as I empty my resources into leveling up the old exotics etc.
I've just started playing Marvels Avengers about 2 days ago, so I can't assume to have enough credits. However, the missing overview of my credits/ressources inside the vendors trading menu was one of the first things I've noticed negatively.
What is this "gear level cap increase?" How will it work?
They're increasing the maximum Power level of the gear, and have said we will be able to level up our current gear to the new upper limit which was said to be 175. This will be the power level of the new Raid.
Assuming it is done through the already existing way of boosting the Power of the gear and not with some entirely new resource, we will need a lot of gear resources for this. And upgrading the gear on all of the Avengers will probably take far more resources than what currently fits into our pockets.
Hence, it's best to just stuff a huge amount of loot into the bank so that it'll fill up your gear resources quickly when you scrap it, so that you won't have to go do as much grinding for the upgrade project once it goes live.
