Yes, you can pick your team, select which heroes you want, in the same menu as the one you use to select the hero you'll be using.
As far as my hero selection. Everytime I try to pick my own it says Im not connected to matchmaking. Which I am not as like I mentioned I play solo.
In regards to comps, if you use the war table and change hero (H button for me but bindings and stuff), you can select the companions you'll be using. Hoover over the icon of the hero and press the button to request them as a comp (R button for me)
So I literally just did Stark Realities for a Third time. This time it dropped a vault cooridiantes thing and now a vault is on my map. Shouldn't i have gotten that the first time, just to get step 2?? You would think it would have stayed on step 1 till I got one of those.
I think I figured out the hero thing, Thank you for your help on that. Curious does it make a difference if your other heroes are leveled up? My main (hawkeye) Is Power level 123. My next closest is Thor at PL 69 after that my others are really low.
While some people may say use this one or that one, it may not be good advice to you since it all depends on how much time you have dedicated to their development. Thor and Hawkeye do have a healing field available to them, but yours might not have them active.
Kamala always has Healing Spirit, and you can enhance it to carry multiple charges. It also revives fallen heroes which skips the loss of a single life of your 3 total. This makes her the most potent healer in the game. But if you have not developed her, then she is just another useless tool in your list of heroes.
Companions do not receive gear or exp, so you must dedicate time to playing the ones you choose as a companion.
In the list where you select your active hero, hover your mouse over the ones you wish to be your active 3 companions. Take care, because this is also the Order of Priority. Ms Marvel (if developed) should be the first chosen as a companion. Now if a player enters your match using Kamala, then your next choice will fill the next empty player slot.
Based on companion strength and the story you are running, will dictate from whose pool of 3 companions fill the remaining slots. So it is important to develop as many heroes as possible for greater game enjoyment.
On to vaults, I have been saying in prior posts, if people need help, I will run vaults with you. I currently have all three elite vaults in my list of missions. But what no one has told you, you do not need to complete Stark Realities, to get the vault missions. You just need to enter the mission in one of its three forms, Standard, revisit or priority.
Enter the mission, go straight to the bunker and open the shield chest. Then return to the quinjet, and repeat.
Getting a vault mission is not guaranteed, but you can only hold up to 5 vault missions at one time. Continue grabbing vault missions until you have 5 then do the Forest Elite for the Chain Mission. If you do not have the next elite, return to Stark Realities.

If you see me in game, all are welcome to join me. Hit the v after my name in chat. A pull down will pop up, select "Join Game" (if I am in a mission, you'll be grouped up with me but you will need to wait for my mission to complete). I'll run you through Challenge IV Vaults for maximum exp and rewards or help you on your missions. Be warned through, I play Natasha almost exclusively.
I don't think downed AI count towards the player's 3 lives. I've seen AI go down several times before me and then when I went down, it said 2 lives left. I think it counts towards the mission stars at the end though.
Was referring to the player being downed. There are areas on the map where there is no respawn, downed 3 times and mission ends or get shot back to last check point. Kamala's Healing Spirit if used while you are downed, does not not remove one of your 3 lives.
In multiplayer, any player getting downed 3 times reverts to camera mode to watch the remaining players until that player can/if respawn.
Example: Global Presence
After you raid the weapon cache, you team up with shield and inhumans to free the captives. That is a large battle and under developed players go down like flies to the adaptoids. That area is a no respawn area. players that drop 3 times there are stuck in camera mode until you move on to the next area on the elevator. You get 3 more lives after the system respawns you, but the next battle is also a no respawn area.
Kamala can hit healing spirit multiple times and can resurrect multiple players without costing them one of their lives. This makes her invaluable in raids... Especially when Patrols come out when we have epic boss raids. She will keep people in the fight.
Of all the Characters to choose you chose one without superpowers ;-)
One good thing about playing Widow is when Black Panther arrives you will have a lot of hand to hand combat experience. Question- Are vaults really best exp? I have yet to be awarded any exotic gear from the 250+ keys I have tried.
Natasha is a super soldier, she has the serum the same as Bucky and Steve.
Natasha also has nanites in her system that stop her aging and heal her from injury.
