Anyone else having issue with gamepad stick drift, but only in Avengers

I'm curious, didn't pull much up on search results, but since the latest update my character constantly wants to walk back and to the right. It's not a gamepad issue that I can tell, as the gamepad functions normally on all my other games.

Using a 360 controller and Steam Big Picture, if that matters.

From what I know, if the controller isn't original, it has this problem.
I play on ps4 with a not original controller and when I put the left stick to the up left diagonal, my cam start to spinning like crazy.

Like you, it happens only on marvel, another sign of the incompetence of the CD staff.

Must be a PS4 problem. I play with 8Bitdo SN30 Pro on PC with no problems.

I'm having the same issure on an Xbox Wireless Controller, and update yet on how on fix this?

I finally fixed this by going into steam settings, recalibrating the controller, and then after recalibrating, manually expanding the deadzone until the drift stopped. It would seem Avengers has a much more sensitive deadspot than other games.

theres absolutely no deadzone on the trigger too. i tend to press RT while just having my finger on the trigger

This is from a another post, this fixed the problem for me; requires no recalibration or anything complicated:

"I had this issue and so far disabling Steam Input fixed it. To disable it go to your library, right click on the game, go down to controller and change override setting to "Disable Steam Input"

Yes, Xbox one controller. Joystick drift confirmed. I am missing a deadzone in the controller config on WIndows for that controller. Recalibrating does not help.

I had a deadzone for other controller types in the past. Does not happen in other games, though. Maybe the devs of this game are just not good.

It might have worked for you but others it might not have.

As I said, it wasn't my suggestion, it was from another post that seemed to work for multiple people, and going from Aahzmandias answer, it suggested to me that he was only responding to the title question of the post, but not reading the comments.

dont know if that bug returned but here iam :) xbox controller and he is doing what he want. Just stand still dosent even touch the controller, char turns around. The Steam library fix dosent helped, so i try the whole game on xbox game pass, same issue.
Conclusion use mouse and keyboard no problems.
