so???
I don't know which is more disturbing at times, having unfounded hope or rumours?

If you extrapolate these percentages to the PS4 playerbase, then it's quite a massive increase.
Of course these story expansions don't keep people playing the game for an extended amount of time, so the numbers have dipped again.
Welp, it's over!
The Steam player count jumped from a few hundred to over 2500 with Kate's expansion. The percentages are there for extrapolation if you care about such things.
The community goal trackers are not reliable, they've been bugged many times with zero progress displayed.
But as I said, the player numbers have dropped on Steam since Taking AIM ran its course and the same is most likely true for the console versions. But you have to remember that the game has sold millions of copies on consoles and therefore the trophy percentages mean vastly larger player numbers both on PS4 and Xbox. On Steam we now only have a few thousand players at most and the game probably didn't even sell 100k Steam copies.
What I fear is, after this debacle, Disney will not allow SE to continue publishing and ruining its IP MA's games and grant the licence to the publisher with the most talented and award winning devs in gaming history which is Sony.
In turn, making all future MA's games exclusive to only PS.
And I told you the community goal tracker can not be relied on because they can be stuck at 0% due to a bug.
I also told that the percentages show hundreds of thousands of players on consoles have leveled a character to 50, even 0,6% means over 20 000 people by now as the game has sold well over 3 million copies.
There's no question though that MA is in a bad state and does need a second launch in a much improved next-gen form. Both matchmaking and the loot system need an almost total overhaul, and there are a lot of bugs & optimization issues still remaining.
