they were looking into the option to replay the campaign mode 3 months ago and it still hasn't been implemented so yeah Clint will take a long time seeing how fast they are with something simple like new game+

with the way they're releasing content, I'll be surprised if Hawkeye drops this year :steamfacepalm:

Well, originally they wanted to have kate, clint and even black panther out at the end of 2020. Now we might just get clint by february...
I don't know. Seeing only 322 in-game right now, and it looks like before this week is out dropping in the low 200ish, waiting to February (remember, Clint is not a favourite Avenger just like KB is not) or later only hurts SE chances for must-needed recovery and fast since SE made MA as a GaaS platform.

so???

He is console exclusive, as the article says... youre point is?
Even when it has been confirmed and written on the wall, fans still will refuse reality.

I don't know which is more disturbing at times, having unfounded hope or rumours?

The worst thing is, with getting characters only every few months, when they will do spiderman...

They most likely will just finish the already planed content in production like Hawkeye, Black Panther and Spider-Man, see that it wont do much and then phase the Production out.

On one side you expect it as content and on other you dont....and isnt it already released(on console)?

Kate's expansion did increase the Steam player numbers by the largest percentage we have seen so far, it was something like 400-600% at the time.

If you extrapolate these percentages to the PS4 playerbase, then it's quite a massive increase.

Of course these story expansions don't keep people playing the game for an extended amount of time, so the numbers have dipped again.

You not again try to tell us ps has currently a big playerbase on this!?
You want me to make a screenshot of the community goal tracker on my tv?

The Steam player count jumped from a few hundred to over 2500 with Kate's expansion. The percentages are there for extrapolation if you care about such things.

The community goal trackers are not reliable, they've been bugged many times with zero progress displayed.

But as I said, the player numbers have dropped on Steam since Taking AIM ran its course and the same is most likely true for the console versions. But you have to remember that the game has sold millions of copies on consoles and therefore the trophy percentages mean vastly larger player numbers both on PS4 and Xbox. On Steam we now only have a few thousand players at most and the game probably didn't even sell 100k Steam copies.

Well if we would get "remastered" version with bug fixes, better graphics and less resource consumption and some quality content then this game could be saved and player base would increase and everything would be as everyone wants it(companies, right owners, players,...) but whats the chance of this actually happening:winter2019surprisedyul:

What I fear is, after this debacle, Disney will not allow SE to continue publishing and ruining its IP MA's games and grant the licence to the publisher with the most talented and award winning devs in gaming history which is Sony.

In turn, making all future MA's games exclusive to only PS.

Question is who pays for that... doubt they make a lot from the cosmetics.
New players buying this game, if they make it good....but as said they wont do it

I literally showed you proof how there are for a 100% not "hundreds of thousands of people" playing this game, and you still try to play the delusional one?

Also those 2600 from Kate update fell of very quickly again, and after youre logic the player lose for consoles would be even bigger!

And, so that even you understand it, there is a challenge running requiring 55 Million Melee Kills. It is basically impossible to play this game without contributing to this.

Since there are "hundreds of thousands of people playing" at playstation, like you claimed,
even just killing hundred enemies per player over the last 5 days would have added up to atleast 10 Million Kills, which would be visible. Even with just half or less the amount of players you claimed we would atleast see "some" progress. But there isnt any...

And I told you the community goal tracker can not be relied on because they can be stuck at 0% due to a bug.

I also told that the percentages show hundreds of thousands of players on consoles have leveled a character to 50, even 0,6% means over 20 000 people by now as the game has sold well over 3 million copies.

There's no question though that MA is in a bad state and does need a second launch in a much improved next-gen form. Both matchmaking and the loot system need an almost total overhaul, and there are a lot of bugs & optimization issues still remaining.

I could imagine Spiderman being pushed back to early or mid 2022. Seeing that this character is exclusive to Sony could mean 1/4 of both art and programming would be working on spidey in order to not fully clog non-exclusive content from being released.
