game wont start up HELP

when i press play on steam to start the game it just goes away with anything starting up. tried reinstalling it and verify gamer files nothing works.. pls help

In Steam, from game folder, change MA location from drive D/ to the C/ drive, even if you have to free up space on C/ drive. Launch game.

Well I got nothing on this issue, maybe he is trying to run the game on a 32 bit Windows Vista or 7?

Can you list us the specs of your PC or laptop?

Do you get the launcher of the game popping up when you click play on Steam? Have you looked at the bottom of the screen, whether the app launches and is just hidden behind the Steam overlay?

Or does the launcher not appear to start at all?

im installing it again but now under a new C folder so i hope that will work.
no not a launcher or anything. the button on steam just says STOP insted of play and loads a little bit and then goes to PLAY again. nothing lingering in the backround after either, nothing appears att all
my pc have Win10, i7-7700, 16gig RAM, and a Geforce RTX 3080 so thats really not the problem XD

im installing it again but now under a new C folder so i hope that will work.
no not a launcher or anything. the button on steam just says STOP insted of play and loads a little bit and then goes to PLAY again. nothing lingering in the backround after either, nothing appears att all
my pc have Win10, i7-7700, 16gig RAM, and a Geforce RTX 3080 so thats really not the problem XD

UPDATE - Nope now i have installed it on my C driver and still the same problem. i dont know what todo......................

Do you have an anti-virus program on your PC? It could be blocking MA's launcher. If so you need to go set up an exception for it in the anti-virus program's settings, or just uninstall that software entirely.

It was a broken mess in beta, slightly better at launch, and steadily improving ever since. It's not a broken mess anymore, but some people still encounter some blocker issues just through bad luck.

For this method to work, you have to *transfer* the MA file from the /D drive (not uninstalling from /D and then reinstalling MA on the /C drive) from the games profile.

One possible cause of the issue could be the DRM. Have you ever installed any trainers or cheat software on your PC?
