The steam vs game pass internal debate

Now that it's on game pass, I don't know if it would be a better idea to play there. Is there a chance that they could stop updating the Steam version and just keep the xbox and playstation version? Or are they committed to keep all 3 versions going as long as the game is out?

Well, would it be worth it to you to pay a monthly subscription in order to play this game? Ten bucks per month makes 120 bucks a year, unless you get the Ultimate tier sub which costs even more.

You'd have to download a few other games at least every year and play them too before you get any sort of price advantage. If you normally spend more than 120 bucks per year into buying games then the Game Pass becomes the better option. Even the Ultimate tier becomes the cheaper option if you normally spend more than 180 bucks per year into games.

Of course you'd have to account for the microtransactions too if you download any games from the Game Pass which have these, and Marvel's Avengers is one of these games.

The game is often on sale for 20$ on Xbox which is now Play anywhere, so he doesn't have to go to that 120... Also, I don't think they will stop updating the steam version.

I have ultimate and I've been playing Avengers from Cloud. No installation and very fast load times. I can also now play all my xbox one games right on my computer by streaming my xbox without it even turning on. Technology is wonderful as it slowly smothers us while removing our freedoms while allowing us to become tik tok and youtube stars

I have xbox ultimate for other reasons so its a bonus for me to have it there. I am more worried about them shutting down the steam version of the game but leaving xbox and playstation servers up
