The game is designed around playing the game, you know, actually doing things not just the story. The campaign skins are designed to be cinematic for the moment they are introduced, but the majority of the skins in the character's list is literally from the challenge cards, the cosmetic shop (Not MTX) mission rewards and pattern unlocks or getting a character to a specific level.
While I appreciate you can be mad about the 15 dollar skins and lord knows I wasn't happy about it at first. They give you a TON of options simply by playing the game. So try it!
I feel the same about your opinion of his opinion..we got ourselves a little problem going here. although i should prob respect someone with 1337 so i change my mind i like your opinion of his opinion..can you like or dislike my opinion of your opinion of his opinion?
if only there was a free beta to test the game.
looking at your steam account u probably don't even own games.
our reviews align!
campaign i give it a 3.5/5 also for multiplayer you really can't measure something that doesn't exist so a null.
"I quit reading at making me a troll."
This is one of those technically true but ultimately I feel essentially a lie in practice. We shall see, but battle passes should be reserved for free games, the grind they promote is ridiculous and it changes the pace at which things are unlocked to really push you to pay to unlock tiers and that is after buying the game, and for future characters buying there battle pass.
That and the game needs to essentially be completely different to the beta in terms of its technical make up as it ran impressively poorly.
As well as other goodies if you do the challenge cards. If you save the credits earned from the free cards you can get the rest free when they come out. The only things you need to pay for are specific outfits, emotes, nameplates and the like. Cosmetic stuff, it doesn't affect anything.
As for performance well it runs flawlessly for me but I've heard mixed responses, maybe the launch patch will help. And yeah there are bugs, nothing too serious on my end so far, luckily.
And onto the game itself, sounds like you barely did anything, plenty of loot and stuff to upgrade, decent story, plenty of missions of varying quality and length. Combat is fun and smooth.
Patience is a nice thing but clearly some can't handle such.
So the beta was horrid in terms of perfromance. 3700x, 2080ti build here and drops into the 30's with stutter on top of that. Flawless is a term that i'm not sure what means, some thing anything above 30fps is flawless, I am glad your happy with how it runs though.
The thing is, the monetisation being described sounds like a free to play game. Maybe they should have gone that route? We really need to push back more on the monetization of games, things have been getting a little better recently, but I feel people need to push back even more.
Not sure about your patience comment, but I am tired of being asked to grind hours and hours with little to no change up in the content. Or even worse, play the same content over and over again and hope you get lucky. I have no faith in this project at this point, but will be pleasantly surprised if it isn't anthem 2.0 or worse.
The patience comment was about the OP, can't be bothered to do much of the game or wait for the day one patch to see if it improves. Having completed the game and gotten 120+ power I know he didn't do much.
We need to see, remember Battleifelds 5 justification for doing the same thing (but even there ea was less aggressive then what is here), and then they cut of support half way through what they sold people.
Maybe it will turn out great, i'm not willing to support it until, and if it ever is not just promises.
I stopped riding hypetrains years and years ago.
I started buying games at a time when they were finished :D
Look for Dead or Alive 6 Dlc´s (topic costumes)
