Taskmaster is invicible on PC

Ive watched youtube videos of poeple shooting directly after a dodge and doing damage on him as he goes past. But this is not possible on PC. for some reason theres a massive delay on trying to aim and shoot after rolling and by the time you can aim hes back into unhittable mode. What the ♥♥♥♥ am i missing? I can dodge him all nit long but I cant hit him. wtf.

EDIT: Discovered that the answer below and that fact that tapping dodge gives more time than long dodge, solves the problem. I thought i wasnt doing enough damage, but seems you dont need much anyways.

I didn't have any issues. No idea what your troubles are. Playing with a controller. Dodge, hold LT, tap away with RT. Worked as expected. What input method are you using? Do you start the aiming input during the dodge or do you wait for the animation to finish?

Shoot his jetpack. Any other area does no damage. If you can't do that, git gud.

Granted I played with a controller but I've beaten him 3 times already on PC. (Twice during Beta) He is definitely beatable.

You need dodge and shoot him fast before he turn round (note I think the key is timing dodges just right). Just keep trying it will move on to battle stage 3 once you shoot him 2 or 3 times. I beat him ok with keyboard and mouse.

I had trouble with this in the beta. Just spam immediately after dodging and you should get some hits in before he turns around. You'll eventually trigger the next phase. The delay might be because you're not used to control the character. You have to be pretty quick to shoot after dodging so just keep at it. If the delay is caused by fps drops or something else then this information probably won't help unfortunately

Never got this issue, on the beta it was more awfull to run the game than now and he's was already pretty easy to dodge and shoot.

I beat him just fine, learn to play the fight of the boss. It's a stamina fight.

No issues here just dodge and shoot his feet, when it gets to melee sequence just dodge and melee him up close then back off and shoot from range.

Are you double tapping dodge? That starts a longer dodge, and that will cause you to be unable to hit taskmaster

Talking about the A-Day fight with him? I did that first try without any trouble. I didn't even find that part challenging or weird. It was after he landed where it got...well I don't want to say hard but it just seemed like he was dying slow, then they give you the tip about your grapple and he dies in like 10 seconds. Was honestly an easy fight unless you fight him some other time that you're referring to.

You need to shoot as soon as you can after dodging before Taskmaster turns round. Plus timing dodge just right gives you a short period of slowmo making hitting him even easier.

It's not possible on PC? What about the thousands of PC players who did it?
