Issue installing beta
I got the Steam beta key, tried to activate it, but got the error:

'Steam failed to install (app configuration unavailable)'

Anyone else got the same thing and found the solution? I tried the fix which is deleting the appinfo.vdf and restarting, but the error is still there. Looks like the game definition for beta is not yet available on Steam?

Sorry if this is obvious, my first time activating beta on Steam.

And ignore that weird aaa person, they got extra content on PS4 and they're still salty for some reason. I think the the thought of 120+ FPS is triggering.

I mean I understand. I'd be annoyed too if I had to pay a subscription for a blurry, stuttering, nasty 20 FPS turd. Paying money to my Sony overlord just to use the hardware I'd already bought from them on an internet connection that I already pay for would definitely make me salty as well. I can't imagine being the much of a cnut.

Thankfully, as members of the PC master race, we just aren't that stupid.

I hope you enjoy the game!

The game isn't shown in the library, but if you go to the link below you should see the license. I guess we'll see what happen in a few days

Yep, just be patient. The beta pre-load is not ready yet, or released more precisely. It should be available on 13th of August, to download and pre-load. Just be patient.

And for all of you who, who ask for a beta code, if you purchased via a retailer or Square Enix yourself, you will get your key by the end of Wednesday most likely, for those who purchased it via Steam, you will get access to the beta whenever the template becomes available. Just be patient.

BEEEEETTTTAAAAAA.

It doesn't start until the 14th so there's time for it to appear in our library. No need to worry just yet.

I never played the Tomb Raider games. I bought one years ago for £3.74 on sale but I never even downloaded it, kinda like half of my library if I'm honest.

I've not heard of Nixxes until today either, but after watching the PS4 demos, as long as they include a blur off button, it's a win.
