Idk about you but where I live Police do hold gun's and it is for their safety as crime is extremely high in parts of my city. I think it is important that they implement guns and a type of discipline system that can end your career if you use unlawful force. Because this is real S*** that cops deal with everyday. Having the power of a fire arm and choosing when it is justified to use force or not. Not having this element of law enforcement is extremely unrealistic. It's like living in a "pleasant vile", where everything is done by the book and civilians cooperate almost 100% with zero violence. Definitely not how the "real world" is portrayed.
You can *keep* the real world. I play games to escape it!
The only real world games i like (sims) is OFP,Arma# whereby the enemy is the enemy and valid targets.
We all don't live in a gun riddled world.
I agree but this is also a Police simulated game. Simulations are things that simulate the "real world".
Well in this game at the moment cops do neither soo lol.
Not true, in this game you can use your gun in any situation that requires it.
*Assuming the game follows the "getting shot near one of the main arteries in the body (leg) or somewhere full of blood vessels (extremities) isn't lethal" movie/game logic instead of the "getting shot basically anywhere can be lethal" reality. Depends on how accurate the simulation is.
Unless the suspect was threatening yours or someone else's life, your taser would've been a more correct choice.
Yup, because you used it in a situation that didn't require it.
98% boring? Nah. Depending on where you work, you get a load of work to do, esp. at the week-end.
