Just got the game not even considering it could have no customization based on the screens and its description. Imagine my dumb face looking at a bunch of premades and none is really inviting me to even start the game. Not even mods seem to fix that!
Please, consider doing *something* in that department; or at the very least make it inviting for modders to cover that. It seems like it could be a fun to play with game if I can pick/create a character I like.
I will not be recommending the game if this is left out in November, as well as several other expected features still missing throughout Early Access so far. This is the trap of Early Access, games simply not being "finished."
It's looking more and more like in the end, this dev is going to deliver a disappointing, unfinished, partial product after all, just like so many others before. Such wasted potential.
People here being super pedantic about something that you see at the beginning and never bother looking at again. You look over a shoulder at suspects, traffic etc and that's it.
If we're talking Skyrim whereby class, clothes and weapons impart abilities, that's a different thing altogether.
All i see is people here with an axe to grind for the sake of it. Why is this forum sooo bloody toxic? Early Access isn't something new. I've bought into several and they are going on 3-4 years old -some are binned and some are still being worked on or have moved to release and onto a followup. The dev's have a monumental reason to keep this going -financially. They loose out more than we do. Plus the rules state you bought into EA and it "May or may not be finished"
Have a gripe? Then at least be constructive about game-play additions or features.
But to dig up what your character looks like....
For a start i *don't* want to be an American cop! (I'm NOT American)People think the world is American on steam..... Do i even have that choice? NOPE! It's not called, "American Police Simulator" is it? 'Police' could be ANY country. But i'm not bothered because i can go to the workshop and download some uniforms and police vehicle skins and be what i want it to be in my own eyes.
In the words of HAL -"Take a chill pill"
- NAME!!
- Age
- Skin color/ethnicity
- Hairstyle/Hair color
- Facial features.
It doesn't have to be freely definable.
4-6 options per option are enough.
The residents are also generated from prefabricated “parts”.
