Lspdfr vs PSPO
Hi, I am not playing this game as much as Lspdfr. Note that I am not trying to demonize this game and do respect what they accomplished so far, but for me, Lspdfr is the best police simulator experience out there if you have all the cool mods installed. If for instance, the developers of this game, or any potential developers could look at Lspdfr as an example of what we really want as a police simulator, it would help a lot in delivering the best game out there. If only Lspdfr had a way to speak to the NPCs in the same context as this game does, it would be a total gem. Let me know if you agree.

Back then when the game was announced, some of us from the LSPD:FR boards provided plenty of feedback for the devs in the current Suggestion thread. So they are well aware of the mod. ;)

My only problem with LSPDFR is it's so stinking unreliable for me. Crashes like nobody's business and tons of bugs. To the point for me its became unplayable. I'd personally rather have a stable game that's somewhat limited than one that is a great sim but you have to restart your game every 15 minutes. But I hear ya.

^Yeah, same here. I loved LSPD:FR, but it's really not for the faint of the heart. While the base mod itself is easy to install, it works best with community mods and addons, with the more you have running at once, the more difficult it is to maintain your installation (and the more crash-prone the experience becomes). The fact that every GTA: Online update breaks compatibility, and you have to wait for both mod and scripthook updates to make the mod work again also doesn't help.

It's a lot of fun regardless, but I understand the need for dedicated standalone police simulators.

I have experience play LCPDFR (GTA4) and LSPDFR.
I wrote explain about to play LCPDFR / LSPDFR in Japanese at my own site.

LSPDFR has more ability to extend duties.
Many police cars, many character skins, many callouts or ambient event plugins and more.
Because LSPDFR is a mod of GTA5.
BTW, LSPDFR is sometimes unstable because it is a mod.
There are some causes unstable condition.
Rage Plugin hook, plugins for LSPDFR, other plugins, some setting files (e.g. .XML file) and any conflict.
You should tries and errors under your own risk to detect cause and make stable conditions for LSPDFR.

That is better choice to play PSPO if you want to play good police simulator in easy.
Because PSPO is a retail software not a mod.
PSPO has realistic graphics, good callouts and ambient event, enough tools and enough patrol cars.
In PSPO world, You should drive in safety your patrol car, you should collect evidences to make incident report and you should do policing action according due process.

Police Simulator: Patrol Officers Unofficial Support
Hey, glad to hear you want to make a suggestion. LSPDFR and LCPDFR are really good, the reason PS:PO currently isn't experiencing such fun and amusement is because we're still in Early Access and haven't left yet, but is leaving soon! You can make a Official Suggestion for PS:PO over here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/997010/discussions/0/3068621701744963875/

I'm entirely satisfied with this game; I gave up on LSPDFR years ago because any updates to the base GTA game broke EVERYTHING, and mod support was (understandably) inconsistent and not timely.
