More Players to Co-op?

So I got my girlfriend the game to play while me and my mate were playing just for the three of us to learn it was only two person co-op. I understand cops work in pairs but for making it easier for people who want to play with four people, would it potentially be possible to add a second cruiser for a second police team to a session?

Had the same issues with some friends of mine, and sadly it seems that this game will likely remain 2p only. which is kinda sad considering the maps in car patrol mode are more than big enough for 2 teams of 2.

I mean, would it be possible to see a 4 person mod at all? I haven't the slightest clue about modding much less Unreal Engine.

The current simulation system only allows for two players so we're still very much looking into it but it would require a tremendous amount of work which we can not really offer right now :(

Hey man we don't really care if its right away, but can't deny it would be cool to have it to look forward to! Either way just keep doing what your doing, but maybe speed up with the potential shoot outs. Me and my partner been looking for a reason to get on CNN haha!

Adding here, it would be great to see 4 player coop. Having more officers for the large wrecks and pursuits for road blocks, etc would really add to the game
