In reference to it involving some action, there are definitely car chases and a pit maneuver is needed when a traffic stop suspect decides to flee. They just added a feature that allows you while chasing a suspect to tackle them.
In all honesty, the game does need fixing. I would say most of the bugs that need fixing for general enjoyment of the game are those involving the events that happen. You could be giving someone a ticket and suddenly an accident happens right next to you or maybe you're working that accident and someone decides to for some reason break into a car right next to you...twice. There's also a bug where an accident happens and one of the victims "flees" and if you give chase, the NPC is bugged with their hands up after you catch up to them.
I'm a huge fan of the emergency lights as they fascinated me as a child, but I'm very disappointed that the emergency lights on every vehicle but the players have no reflection on surrounding objects, though I'm sure this is due to a starting budget for the game. On the flip side, the emergency lights coming from whatever vehicle you play in are satisfactory, at least from my POV. They radiate onto all surrounding objects and flicker realistically from tactical parts of the vehicle's body. Even the unmarked skins have impressive light mounts.
Another major issue is that if a car thief happens to get in the car before you can tase them, you have to threaten them with your service pistol, which seems realistic, but your character loses 10 of the 100 limited conduct points that can lead to your firing if you "abuse your authority" by "wrongfully aiming at a civilian".
I purchased all the DLCs out of pride and I am very impressed with the vehicle and character models, but I am expecting many more improvements to be done. I also wish we had more frequent updates for encouragement.
