Stolen Car

i pulled up to a car and ran the plate it showed left side of screen when reviewing it was stolen i pulled them over and when pacing it said stolen so i get them out of the car and arrest them for stolen vehicle and i loose cp what did i do wrong?

You have to be very careful.
That's why you ALWAYS scan the license plate (focus) and check the ID.
If the ID says "car stolen", it means that HIS car was stolen.
So he is probably driving a friend's car (license plate).
You can check this in the police computer (C).
ONLY if the car with the "license plate" has been reported stolen is an arrest for vehicle theft justified.
But be careful here too if the ID holder and the license plate are the same person.

it didnt say car stolen in ID i focused on plate then hit c thats how i knew it was stolen

Did you perhaps forget to give a reason for stopping beforehand?
And it's best to always ask for ID before any arrest.

But of course (unfortunately) it could also be a bug?

reason of stop was expired license plate and i did ask ID
