Please FIX the transmission for the vehicles

why do all the vehicles have to redline when im barely giving it half throttle, and then they hover there unless i floor it to go into 2nd gear, its ridiculous. i cant stand to do the speed limit because the car is revving at 5k RPM when i do. its great you guys let us know that your updating the physics of cars in the near future...but for the love of god fix the TRANS first!!

I only use the crown vic because all the other cars are terrible. The crown vic is the least worst vehicle of the group. They all sound terrible, in fact the smaller suv sounds like a fully electric car, they all handle like you're driving on ice, terrible handling, and terrible steering and the newest suv car is a monster car. The proportions are way off compared to the size of the officer.

I agree this is really ruining the game for me. We need an Audio setting to lower the player engine sounds because driving around is just not fun with the loud engine revving.

I actually find the crown victoria the worst, for me if I set cruise at 25 - 35, the revs erratically go up and down causing constant engine acceleration sounds, is that just me?

I agree, the Crown Vic has the worst engine sound right now. I think it was better before last update. So I use the Panther most now.

But, yea, they definatly need to fix how cars behave and handle.

Yup, I agree. Prior to the update the Crown Vic was bad if you had the cruise control on and you were going a certain speed, but now it's pretty bad all the time. It sounds like it has a small displacement turbo engine now.

its not even the pitch of the sounds or how they handle really, i could live with that stuff. its when im just putting around looking for persons being criminals (lol) and the vehicle (regardless of which one) is revving to the moon. THAT ♥♥♥♥ drives me.
I basically reinstalled this to try out the new stacking update, but im probably just going to uninstall until the vic update. shame because this game has some amazing moments of gameplay.

glad im not the only one who feels this way though, cheers guys

We will improve car control greatly with update 10.0.0 as we are switching to a whole new physics engine, just fyi :)
