Arresting for Switch Blade

Is anyone else having issues with this? I have found several people carrying switch blades, which it pops up in green "this person is carrying an illegal item" and I arrest them for it, and I lose CP like its somehow wrong?

In the same breath, I was at a minor accident, found someone DUI amphetamine, so I arrest and search the car, find 4 OF THEM and still, loss of CP for adding that charge onto the DUI one... I am genuinely at a loss as to how it is both illegal but wrong to do anything about it?

It seems that adding a charge after the arrest isn't working properly. However, stacking the charges during the initial arrest works fine. i.e. "I am arresting you for stolen ID and DUI."

But, when you try to add charges "Arrested for DUI. Search due to arrest. Illegal item found. Add charge of carrying an illegal weapon." it results in CP loss.

To be fair, this is a new system that they put into place. And, the stacking feature works like it should. The adding feature does not and needs to be addressed.

Some of the loss of CP was basically the first charge as well though, it seems that any time I charge someone with a knife, it is a CP loss, they hadn't been arrested, found it while frisking... so I guess the new system has just outright messed up that specific crime

Interesting. I haven't found anything on a frisk yet but I will keep my eyes out for it.

just to add on, I am experiencing the same thing, and it really doesn’t make any sense, because a lot of the things that you find when you search the vehicle, you would not have found to charge them, until you arrested the suspect and had probable cause to search.

yeah this is def messed up
so im trying to make it clear for myself because im tired of -cp
find knife
hes drunk
no reg
ok so is it an order it has to be done to avoid the -cp
so arrest for knife and add , dui, add invalid reg?

because if i arrest for dui and add knife its -cp
i only search if cause like dui then i search then i tell him under arrest i dont search in cuffs

in my country you cant drive off with no reg or issuance so its auto tow but not auto drug test etc only if i see the npc head bobbling

I have made an arrest on a Switchblade (Can't recall the PC for the search) and it worked fine no CP loss. Currently, you have to stack all charges at one time by highlighting them and pressing E (Keyboard and mouse) after all of the charges are selected press F to make the arrest with multiple charges at once. I would keep "Tickets/Fines" separate (I do those first before making an arrest).

All of that being said, you cannot, currently, add charges after the fact for an arrest. You CAN still give individual tickets, one at a time, for different offenses. But you can also Stack them by pressing E on them and then pressing F to issue all of them at once.
