i stopped playing a while ago, so did most of my friends but that never stopped me to stop and check the development of the game, whilst not particularly impressed the devs actually listen, and i sure hope they listen to this as well.
But the problem is that the game rating was created based on the content that was filled in the game at the time of the game's release. I think after consulting with real cops they understand where to take their game and I think they now understand their target audience.
Nevertheless, the game has two game modes - normal and realistic. The normal mode is just for casual players, but the realistic mode is for a more adult audience. Now in the game, so there is a penalty for shooting at ordinary NPCs without a target, the shift just ends. I see no problem in developing events and challenges where we can use our service pistol in self-defense.
Couldn't agree more with this. I really wish the dev's would realized what kind of opportunity they have with this game since there isn't a single solid game on the market where you can free roam and play as a patrol officer (except for LSPDFR maybe, but thats just a mod for GTA V and also far from perfect)
