with crashes its usually just hours of awful teammates while you try to find one person who plays like you

We NEED this, for console version too. Like 80 percent of the time my wife and I can't even load into each other's games with the online multiplayer we just take turns getting stuck on loading screens before giving up entirely.

Devs are lazy, can barely (if at all) fix bugs in the single player mode. It would be a disaster to try and optimize it for local multiplayer, especially with, what seems to be, a room full of monkeys typing on typewriters.
