Vehicle collision needs to be reworked
Hey, just wanted to say... so far pretty good / fun game! I'm enjoying it.

The one MAJOR thing that annoyed me is: Vehicle collision damage.

What I noticed while playing last night, I was backing up slowly and didn't realize a truck had pulled right behind me. I BARELY bumped it, and the entire truck was instantly totaled, while my cruiser was also pretty banged up, and started pouring back smoke from the FRONT ENGINE Compartment (that was nowhere near the impact).

Now the truck, being much larger than my cruiser, should have BARELY noticed the slight bump.... but instead, the windshield and all side windows blew up, and the entire truck looked like it had rolled over a couple.... ....... hundred times, and engine compartment was spewing steam and smoke.

Another time, during a medium/ high speed pursuit, I Crashed into two parked cars (one in front of me, then my cruiser bounced back and hit the other one behind me), and they barely had a dent on their bumpers. I DID have my lights and sirens on, however. It seems like when you're running in emergency mode (lights + sirens), damage is reduced and you are not penalized for crashing into anything.

Collision damaged should be localized, and force based. (The greater the force of impact, the greater the damage).

There are many more issues, and I Could go on and on, but that was the biggest one so far. Still, it's fun for what it is.... I would not call it a "simulation" (it's far from that), more arcade-y than simulation.

(Awkward movement, can not tackle fleeing suspects, etc)

Hi! As far as I'm aware, accidents between player vehicles and NPC vehicles are being calculated based on speed which means that you have to reach a certain speed level and then crash for an accident to happen. Barely bumping into it should in theory not lead to any kind of accident. If you have, by chance, a video of that it would help tremendously.

BTW, regarding tackling fleeing suspect: That is coming in one of the very next updates :) https://trello.com/b/YeMg9IAp/police-simulator-patrol-officers-early-access-roadmap/

Unfortunately, I was not recording at the time - as I didn't plan on that happening (nor did I know in advance, that was about to happen)... I will see if I can recreate it... though probably won't be able to. It may have been on a one-off fluke / glitch.

I looked at that roadmap you linked... and WOW!!! That some great features coming up! I Can't wait to see what's in store next.

I'd just like to throw out there as an additional features suggestion (since I didn't see it on the road map): crouch and jump features... (For example, crouching behind a car for cover, in a shoot-out, or leaping over obstacles during a foot chase).

Thank you for your response, and keep up the good work!

Yeah i barely tap another car and my whole front end is damaged. The turning on the char is very janky and you lose control quickly. Please make it a little harder to damage the car.
