but yeah i would like some more action like a tackle perhaps it seems very "boring" like the most insane thing i have had happen is me shooting and getting fired for police brutality xD
Edit: so no gun action in short :)
but still a really fun game if you don't mind some grind its pretty chill :)
In short, the most dangerous thing that can happen to you in this game (except losing the points and ending your shift prematurely) is being hit by a random car while chasing someone on foot.
Agree that PSPD shifts are too much 'action'
eventually, hopefully we can adjust with some kind of sliders so that we can fine tune callouts to our preference
what i wish is that, just once in a shift there will be something like, RNG domestic disturbance escalated into barricaded suspects.
Or perhaps, there are no callouts in a shift and you just got points by patrolliing with certain districts coverage.
The only time a cop on patrol tends to interact with other cops, though, is A, if there's a partner with you, or B, if support is requested.
We could use a bit more on the B front, but with an eye to conserving CPU, we actually do get to see other cops in the game is it stands right now. We can be called to escort arrestees, and can call others to arrest ours. There's a glimpse of the fact that there are other cops in the city.
I suspect they intend to do more with this later, but even if they don't, my brain can fill in the blanks to be honest. I wouldn't mind it so much.
Also, it would be nice to view photos taken during each shift.
That said (and of course it is still early access), I hope that more stuff will be added in the future, such as securing a crime scene to preserve evidence, stakeouts, plainclothes duty, etc.)
The responses are somewhere unrealistic sometimes. You taser someone and then they speak to you like nothing happened. Some more variation and belligerence (or even just snark) would be more enjoyable.
Also, you can only arrest people for a single thing even though they have sometimes committed multiple crimes (drugs, DUI alcohol, fake/stolen ID, warrant); getting extra points for making a more complete arrest would be nice to have too.
As for the gun: most officers, even in the US, go most of their careers (or even all of it) without drawing their firearm in anger, so I am very glad that they don't have shootouts every 10 minutes. I know lethal force situations will likely be added in the future; I just hope that they are very few and far between.
I read they are working with real police officers and that will kill the fun out of the game as real cops wont ever tell the good stuff only what they want to be seen as...
I mean how can you make a police game with no dirty cops
