Major lags

Hello everyone,
As soon as I try to interact with anyone, the game starts to lag extremely and my mouse keeps bugging in the top left corner of the screen. The lags are so excessive, the game becomes unplayable. Any advice? Computer Performance cant really be the problem, Auto Benchmark suggests me to play on Ultra, I play on Middle

I have the same problem. Change the graphic settings doesn't change anything.

I found a (possible) solution: I had various controllers plugged in to my computer (for Flightsimulation), some of them were appearantly accepted by the game and caused the lag and the bugging mouse. Unplugging all of them solved the issues completely for me

Oh yeah! Works for me too! Unplugged all other controllers, now playing with "ultra" without any lags!

lags happened to me when calling the map, it stopped as soon as I unplugged my xbox controller

I have the excact same problem as Claudio Pizzaro. There are a lot of discussions about stutters and lagging where both users and devs think is performance related of some sort. It's not, it's interference by usb/game controls!!

I have lags driving around town. I'm pretty sure it's not my system. Unplugging my controller did not help.

I have these too when driving, especially in the third district, textures and objects are loading slower, sometime the game stutters a bit

I have annoying lag spikes when driving and on foot. Game runs 60 fps + on ultra. I dont know how to fix it. Lag spikes still happen on low graphics.

Having the same issues, AMD Ryzen 3600X, Vega 64 8 GB, 16 GB RAM.

At least for AMD the Unreal Engine 4 is known to have problems related to the Shader Cache Feature of the AMD Driver, which results in micro stutter, lag and late loading. In former times I was able to deactivate that feature in the driver, but since 2020 you can only reset the shader cache. If I do that, the next game runs way more fluent, then the shader cache is rebuild and stuttering starts again... my partner with GTX 1070 has no issues at all and not a single texture related issue...

My game is almost unplayable if you drive a car, because all the textures are late loading and you get massive lag...

I have the same problem, when I drive over 30 km/h it lags terribly. I don't understand why it's still not fixed after 10 months.

my hardware:
- AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT
- 16GB RAM
