It's been added in the upcoming update. I've been trying out the beta.
If the game is meant to imitate American police life then ninja stars should be illegal - especially considering switch blades are lol
The difference is that shuriken are not actually lethal, unless they happen to hit an artery just right. The thing about them being deadly is a movie misconception. They were designed to be distractions, I believe, not weapons.
Switch blades, on the other hand, aren't reliable weapons, but can certainly be as lethal as any small knife.
This actually just triggered an idea in my head. Player Customization laws ;)
