Chinese star not illegal?

Found a Chinese star on someone but can't seem to arrest em for it. Any ideas fellas?

In the game as it stands, it's not an illegal item, despite it being a deadly weapon logically in real life, only a switchblade/knife as a handheld blade is considered an illegal weapon, RIP Butters from South Park, getting a Ninja Star stuck in is eye

Ninja stars are an item that can be searched, but not arrestable.

It's been added in the upcoming update. I've been trying out the beta.

If the game is meant to imitate American police life then ninja stars should be illegal - especially considering switch blades are lol

The difference is that shuriken are not actually lethal, unless they happen to hit an artery just right. The thing about them being deadly is a movie misconception. They were designed to be distractions, I believe, not weapons.

Switch blades, on the other hand, aren't reliable weapons, but can certainly be as lethal as any small knife.

The reason switchblades are illegal, is because you can draw and use them way faster than a star. You have to throw a star, while the stab is a way faster movement and can be performed hidden.

My bad guys Chinese star has been illegal in every US State I've lived in so I thought it was pretty much the same everywhere with that. Ironically after reviewing the local laws switch blades are actually legal, as long as the blade is less than 4 inches lol. Go figure!
