Sex / Gender of civilians on their ID

Many times when I've stopped a civilian, they are clearly male, yet their ID days female. There seems to be no option to report this as a fake ID.

Anyone had this?

This happens to me as well all the time. It started after the last update.

If the ID gender does not match, the ID is stolen

It’s a fake ID if you can’t find the information when you open the computer

After checking the ID press H for the police computer, then Q to scroll over for the background check. There you can see the registered owner of the identification. If it's blank its a fake ID. There you can also see if there's a warrant on them and so on.

I just arrested someone for "fake ID" as it was a clearly white female with a Mohawk and the ID has Asian male with a completely different license plate number. I lost conduct points for that day. I don't understand.

This seems to be a typically confused issue: fake vs. stolen ID.

Fake ID is when the background check returns saying something like: "The requested ID could not be found in the system."
Stolen ID is when a valid ID exists in the system, but the person carrying it and the person in the computer are completely different. In your case @ratedRsuperstar, you should have arrested the female w/ a Mohawk for a stolen ID.

Its really confusing but a stolen ID is someone uses other peoples information as their own, its stolen because it is in the system, fake ID won't be in the system, you hit c for police computer and it will come up background check failed id not in system, this is a fake ID.

it would be stolen not fake .. its only fake if the criminal history has a NA
