Unjustified Bug?
Saw a guy litter then jaywalk. Detained him on the jaywalking, demanded ID and saw he had a fake ID. His eyes were red so I frisked him. He then took off and I tased him. Handcuffed and search revealed a couple switchblades. I then called for transport. I got docked for the cuffing and transport being unjustified.

Had similar things happen. My buddy and I arrived on the scene of an accident, he asked for the womans ID and it was a man. Didnt look like the woman we were talking to and couldnt hit her with it without being knocked CP

Hi guys,

altough what you explain sounds correct I kindly ask you to double check using the handbook. It is all about the correct procedure when it comes to arresting or fining someone. If you did something that was not correct (e.g. frisking before having any indication/suspicion) all the following fines and arrest can be void and illegal since it was based on false procedure.

For the IDs it is also important to double check on the handbook to make sure that they are indeed stolen and not fake IDs.

"Always compare the person's appearance to the photo on the ID. If they don't match, the ID is probably stolen."

"Remember, in the case of a person carrying a stolen ID, the ID information shown in the background check is that of the person on the stolen ID, not of the person you are interacting with. - If you confirm that a person is carrying a stolen ID and the background check shows that there is an "open" warrant" out on the original owner, this does not represent a justifiable reason for handcuffing the person you're interacting with. The only justified reason for handcuffing this person is for carrying a stolen ID..."

Did you double check if the car you are trying to fine has a handicapped sign (on the rearview mirror or on the license plate)? Handicapped vehicles are allowed to park in front of expired meters.

Hope that helps!

In my case the person I made contact with didn't match hair color or race of the person on the ID. This indicates a stolen ID. So the frisk should have been legal, which I did get positive points for. He ran during the frisk and I apprehended him. A search resulted in illegal weapons. I got positive points for the search. I got docked for the handcuffs and arrest transport.

To me you noticed he had red eyes so you frisked him, that I believe was the error as he need to of been driving to of commit a crime and warrant frisking/searching. Therefore, any evidence you found following the illegal search is counted as invalid, hence making the arrest illegal = -cp.

He wouldn't have been rewarded for the frisk if it wasn't justified. And it doesn't say they have to be driving for red eyes to warrant frisking them.

the question is if your initial search was justified. Did you have any resonable suspicion against this NPC?

It's stating there is an Illegal Item found but the individuals search turns out clear, the individuals vehicle also comes clear, how come?
