This yeah. It doesn't work like you'd expect it to. You have to keep your lights off, Blip the car, follow it till it pulls over, and once you see / hear them roll down their window, you can turn your lights on if you want. the devs do have this marked on their trello as something they are looking into. The AI traffic should only move out of the way if you're running your siren, or their should be a separate light pattern for traffic stops that doesn't cause them to just stop in the middle of the road. Again though, its on their Trello, so they are aware.
But I can not check the ID or do a DUI test. I can only give them tickets or warnings..
Why can't I check anything ? Bug ?
Traffic Checkpoints are... quirky (to put it nicely). Firstly, you have to yank the vehicle while it's in the checkpoint, otherwise it doesn't count. If you do it right, you have then have the detain option "Traffic Stop", which opens up all the options for ID and DUI checks. If the first isn't happening, you aren't getting them in the window of the stop. If the later isn't happening, very likely a bug.
Personally, I avoid them like the plague.
