stolen vehicle

ok so i pulled over a vehicle for expired reg. turns out it was stolen, but i didn't know what to arrest for, there was no stolen vehicle option. Also another note, when i frisk someone and they run it doesn't tell me what i found besides illegal item so i guess and sometimes lose points. anyone have this issue?

First off, what was the probable cause for the frisk? What are you charging them with AFTER you had reason for the search?

You cannot search an innocent person and charge them with whatever you find.

i frisked because their eyes were red.

I'm having the same issue when encountering a stolen vehicle at a minor accident site. I could not interact with the driver of that vehicle in any way regarding the fact that it was stolen.

When you catch them, you can just frisk them again, as long as you frisked them with probable cause.
