Drug positive...Arrest or not?

I'm confused...when i arrest someone with DUI positive THC under "DUI cannabis" then i got minus CP points. I even searched that guy but got nothing suspicious. How am i suppose to arrest someone under drug influence then if things got like this?

That happens to me at checkpoints (traffic stops) for positive drug and alcohol tests. Someone blew a 0.12 and I arrested them for DUI. Got -CP. Works fine for me at accident scenes though.

Until this bug is fixed, it's best not to arrest people for DUI offenses at traffic stops. Feel free to do so at accidents and when you pull people over on your own, but when it comes to traffic stops, there is a bug that causes you to lose CP for "unjustified" DUI arrests even though you're making legitimate arrests... I simply test them and let them go, even if they come up positive for an illegal substance. That way, I get the points for testing them, but I don't lose any CP for trying to arrest them.

I usually get creative and try to stick em with something else instead.

Chances are the reason you're checking for DUI is something was reported back to you such as "i smell alcohol" or "spotted green crumbs" or "red eyes" etc.

Those grant you the ability to frisk the individual as well as DUI check.
Finding something on them, such as 1z marijuana or switchblade or a gun with no permit.

That then gives me the ability to arrest them on a different charge.
Carrying excessive narcotics, carrying a switchblade, etc.

That way you can still try your best to get them off the street even if the original discovery is not what you can actually get them for at the moment.
