Lost CP for detaining a driver in stolen car

I stopped a car for not using turn signal.
Checking the license plate it came back as stolen - the owner ofthe car was a woman.
I asked the male driver to step out of the vehicle, checked his documents, did the alc- and dope-test (both negative).
I issued a ticket for not using the turn signal, and handcuffed him for driving a stolen car.
Boom - CP points lost :((

Sometimes I think that GTA V LSPD:First Responce would be the better game - less realistic, but you don't lost whatever for stoping vehicles without a reason, and you can handcuff them without a reason, just to make sure that they can't attack or flee. If everything is alright, you just take off the handcuffs and wish a good day.
