x360ce not working
Hello! The game runs fine with just a keyboard, but I would like to play with more than one family member! I use x360ce 64 bit, I download it, then extract it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Moving Out". I open it and run it like normal, having it auto config. I use PS2 Controllers with a USB dongle. I use this set up to play other games like unrailed and overcooked 2, and they work perfectly fine. However, it doesn't seem to work with Moving Out. When I launch the game, the input on the controller seems to skip the inital credits cut scenes fine, and when it says press to start, any button I press on the controller makes it move on. The problem comes after this, when it gives you the option to press "A" on the controller or space bar, it is not responsive. I don't know why it's like this. Please help! Thanks

Hi ChocoPie,

Sorry to hear you're having this issue.

Do you have any other controllers that you can test without using software or an emulator?

Can you please try the following:
  1. Unplug the controller
  2. Launch the Steam client and click the controller icon at the top right to enter Big Picture Mode
  3. Go to Settings > Controller Settings and make sure that "Playstation/Xbox/Generic Configuration Support" are all toggled on.
  4. Then simply plug your controller and retest the game
If the settings don't work, please try different combinations or solo settings to see whether this helps.

Regards,
Team17 Support.
